Some topics we cover in greater depth than others. Others are presented or examined very briefly as part of a the big picture. The column of textbook references is not meant to be required reading, but is simply a supplemental resource that students may use if they want to read more about a particular topic after an in-class assignment, activity, or lecture. It can also be helpful for studying for a test.
